Fire Safety

The mission of the Fenton Fire Protection District is not only to mitigate emergency situations, but to also prevent or minimize the effects of those emergencies. This mission begins before first hole is dug for a new building, before you put your car in gear, and before you see the kids off to school.

Permits

Old PatchThe Fire Marshal's office is a big part of that mission. They review plans and conduct inspections during construction of residential and commercial structures to assure that fire prevention codes are being followed. For more information about whether or not you may need a permit for your project, check out our permits page.

Child Safety

Firefighters have always had a special place in their hearts for children. That's why the Fenton Fire Protection District takes extra care to enhance the safety of the kids in our community. Every October, your Fenton Firefighters go to the schools in our area as part of National Fire Prevention Week to teach and reinforce life safety to kids. We also provide safety informaton like child safety seat installation and some safety tips.
